THIRSTY THURSDAY!

It's Thursday, get thirsty and have a few drinks. Keeping this one short, so go out and have fun.

Nujax knows what's up when it comes to the beats. This one has some sick dub wobbles.

This White Lies Remix by Chase & Status is pretty damn amazing. Sort of an indie lyric feel with a softer, almost dub sounding beat.

This song has nothing to do with dub and is more house oriented. Merrill Nisker's vocals keep this track interesting and mysterious the whole way through.

SUVOMFING G

A few weeks ago I started getting into tracks from the L.A. artists, Red Foo and Sky Blu (AKA LMFAO). These guys seem fucking crazy, and their beats can rock a party. Some of the videos on their myspace are hilarious, take a look and show some support.

LMFAO - Yes

LMFAO - What Happens at the Party

LMFAO - La La La (Beatards Remix)

Katy Perry - Hot 'n' Cold (LMFAO remix)

SUNDAY NIGHTS SUCK...

Tonight we have two pretty awesome tracks for you. The first one is a Calling in Sick remix of the Grafton Primary song, All Stars. It's a low key but slightly dirty track with a good lyric base. This song has been playing on my iPod for a few months and I still love it to this day. Seems like this song will be sticking around for a while.

Grafton Primary - All Stars (Calling In Sick Remix)

Bad Girl by Girls Love Shoes is probably one of the most seductive songs that I have heard in a long time. Another very dirty track, but the message is so damn true. I've seen many guys fall for girls like this and although it is comical, it's crazy to see how badly people want what they can't have.

THE NEED TO CHILL

So school started up once again and it is back to the usual hectic life of a college student balancing classwork, a job, and fun on the side. Recently I have been addicted to more low key but uplifting songs. It is kind of scary thinking that in only a short few months I will be graduating and left on my own to hunt for a job like many others. This is one of the worst times to graduate just because the economy is doing so poorly. It will be interesting to see how things turn out once I am done with school, but in the meantime, I'll just get lost in these sweet melodies and try to look at the brighter side of life.

Today we have a beautiful Odahl remix of the Luther Vandross song, Never too Much, as well as The Bloody Beetroots, Second Streets Have No Name featuring Beta Bow.

FOUR BOOTS

I have been listening to some great Little Boots remixes recently but today I wanted to venture back to a few of her unaltered tracks. My conclusion was that Remedy and New in Town were kick ass from the start (to name a few).

Little Boots - Remedy

Little Boots - New in Town

On a related note, here are two outstanding Little Boots remixes. The first was uplifted by French remixer Clap Mike, and the second is an excellent Sidechains vs Buffetlibre tune.

Little Boots - Every Little Earthquake (Clap Mike Amour Remix)

Little Boots - Love Kills (Sidechains vs Buffetlibre Remix)
