The Twelves are a pair of remixer/DJs from Rio de Janeiro, Smanny posted up their remix of 'Boyz' in our Halloween post. They have produced some hella fresh remixes, here is a quick recap of my favorites:
They did a vocal rework and added their own funky flavor, as a result we get one excellent rework.
Fever Ray - Seven (The Twelves Remix)
This track reminds me of Cansei De Ser Sexy in a good way.
Terry Poison - Comme Ci Comme Ca (The Twelves Version II Remix)
This one sounds a little different than the rest. It's a good ol' electronic synth session, upbeat and enjoyable.
Zeigeist - Humanitarianism (The Twelves Remix)
Groovy + Funky = Grunky, a perfect belnd.
Groove Armada - Drop The Tough (The Twelves Remix)
My final selection is a cross between old and new, rock and electronic.
