AUSTRALIA DOES IT BEST

Where do you look to find up and coming artists? Australia is clearly the answer, which is why I am hooking you up with four hot Australian made and Australian remixed tracks. Some in the music industry have known about Bertie Blackman since 2006 but just recently she started to get attention from people outside of her home continent.

To kick off the Australia on Australia action, I suggest the Mic Newman remix of Blackman’s track ‘Town Of Sorrow’. This is the track that inspired me to post and it’s defiantly worth a listen.

Now for a little compare and contrast, here are two different takes on Blackman’s ‘Black Cats’. We have remakes by both remix duo Calling In Sick (CIS) and the young blood, Shazam. It’s hard to say which of these is better; though I think I prefer the mellower CIS version.
